I am a non-degreed software engineer and full member of the IEEE. I have 25+ years experience in the architecture and implementation of large-scale, high-availability, distributed software systems and hard real-time manufacturing control software systems. I was a principal engineer and software architect of the FACTORYworks semiconductor manufacturing execution system (MES) and the CELLworks manufacturing cell control software currently sold and supported by Applied Materials, Inc. I also have several years experience as an ISO-9001:2000 internal auditor at Brooks Automation.
