PROGRAM TOPIC: “Should I Buy my Electricity from an Alternate Energy Supplier?”
With Illinois now being a deregulated power market, and with most if not all of us being bombarded with marketing literature from alternate energy suppliers, this short presentation will give the speaker’s evaluation and suggestions regarding this timel question.
ADDITIONAL TOPICS:
We are intending to hold our annual director elections for the current class of directors
The board would like your input and suggestions for meeting discussion topics for our 2012 meetings. There will be an open forum to address this.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Wesley G. Martin, P.E. is a Vice Chairman and Director of the IEEE Chicago/Rockford Consultants Network. Wes is a retired Electrical Engineer with 40 years experience of designing electrical systems for Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional buildings and related facilities. Wes is the former sole proprietor of W. G. Martin & Associates.
Optional Dinner: 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, before the meeting (meeting starts at 6:45 pm and ends at 8:45 pm), at Bakers Square, 270 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL 60067. It is two blocks south of the Palatine Library. Reservations are not required. Everyone orders from the menu. Guests are always welcome, both for dinner and the meeting.
